Advanced Physician J-1 Waiver Compliance
Does Conrad 30 Service Have to Be Completed in H-1B Status?

The regulation expressly requires H-1B service

Maintain both waiver and H-1B compliance
The physician must comply with the physician waiver conditions and with the separate terms and conditions of H-1B status throughout the required service.
