The current general DOS estimate is six to ten weeks

Conrad State 30 is one of the waiver applications covered by the Department's current general processing estimate.

The state package must be received

The processing period does not begin merely because the physician created a DS-3035 case. The designated state must submit the required Conrad supporting materials.

Home-government funding can add another required document

DOS requires an additional Conrad-specific No Objection Statement when the physician's exchange participation was funded by the home government.

Administrative processing can extend the estimate

DOS warns that a waiver application requiring additional administrative processing may take longer.
