What SEVIS Number Should You Enter if Your J Program Used Form IAP-66?

Older programs may predate SEVIS

Applicants with older J program records may have Form IAP-66 rather than the later SEVIS-generated Form DS-2019.

DOS supplies a substitute SEVIS entry

For a program documented on Form IAP-66, current DOS instructions direct the applicant to enter N0000000000 in the SEVIS Number field.

The instruction is specific

DOS states that the entry contains the letter N followed by ten zeros.

The old IAP-66 still belongs in the filing

Legible copies of all IAP-66 forms remain part of the required J program history submitted with the waiver application.
